When to book your holiday rental in the Alps?
To ensure a successful mountain vacation, anticipation depends on the season you’re aiming for. For winter, large high-altitude areas like Tignes or Les 2 Alpes and the Sybelles resorts (Saint-Sorlin, Saint-Jean-d’Arves) sell out very early: for Christmas and February holidays, book from late summer (August to October) to guarantee a perfect vacation rental for your whole family.

Which destinations in the French Alps are suitable for families with children?
The majority of our Alpine residences are designed to welcome children. If you are traveling with young children, we particularly recommend village and pedestrian resorts such as Doucy (ideal for its safety and direct access to the Grand Domaine de Valmorel), Morillon, or Saint-Jean-d’Arves. These destinations offer gentle snow fronts, ESF kindergartens in immediate proximity to our accommodations, and family entertainment. On-site, you can rent baby kits (cot, high chair) to travel lighter.
French Alps: how to choose my destination?
Northern Alps: if you are looking for high altitude, interconnected XXL ski areas, guaranteed snow until spring, and the charm of Savoyard forests.
Southern Alps: if you are looking for maximum sunshine (more than 300 sunny days a year), a more relaxed atmosphere with a Southern French accent, and magnificent larch forests.
Are pets allowed in your mountain rentals?
The mountains are an ideal playground for dogs, which is why the vast majority of our residences in the Alps are “pet-friendly” and accept your pets (for an additional nightly fee). See our offer. Be careful in summer, however: if you are staying near National Parks (such as the Mercantour National Park in Allos or the Écrins near Orcières), dogs are strictly forbidden there, even on a leash, to protect wildlife. In such cases, prefer the trails of the Regional Natural Parks or the resort areas.
